Set in the rubble of the London Blitz during World War II, Alice By Heart is a moving and imaginative musical about love, loss, and the transformative power of storytelling. As the outside world is torn apart by war, a teenage girl and her best friend escape into the fantastical world of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, where familiar characters take on new meaning and imagination becomes a refuge from reality.
Featuring a soaring contemporary score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater (Spring Awakening), Alice By Heart explores the courage it takes to grow up, let go, and carry the people we love with us. Blending whimsical fantasy with heartfelt emotion, this unique coming-of-age story reminds us that even in life's darkest moments, hope and wonder can help us find our way forward.
